CHRIS BARBER SWISS TOUR 1968

Regelmässig - wie die Steuererklärung -ist im Februar / März die Chris Barber Jazz Band in der Schweiz anzutreffen. Nachdem im Vorjahr Kenneth Washington die Band begleitete, war das Konzert 1968 ein ganz normaler Anlass. Allerdings wusste man damals noch nicht, dass Ian Wheeler im Herbst die Band verlassen und durch John Crocker ersetzt wird.

Im Souvenir-Programm sind die aktuellen Bandmitglieder aufgeführt und eine Repertoire Liste.

Since the late fifties Chris is tregularely touring in February / March in Switzerland. It is a regular procedure - like the yearly tax declaration in February!

1968 featured the "normal" band without guests. It was for a long time the last appearance of Ian Wheeler, who had been replaced by John Crocker in August 1968.

The souvenir programme shows the acutal band as well as a track list.
