Lake Records und Paul Adams haben mit dieser CD erneut längst nicht mehr erhältliche Aufnahmen einem breiten Publikum zugänglich gemacht. Wiederum ist das "Rohmaterial" sorg-
fältig aufbereitet worden. Die 12 eigentlichen Tracks der Original LP sind hier noch mit der EP "Ottilie" ergänzt worden. Sammler werden zudem die unterschiedlichen Versionen von Lonsesome (Si tu vois ma mère) und Swanee River schätzen. Die restlichen Titel sind alles Aufnahmen, die z.T. nur auf Singles oder EP's erhältlicfh waren. Danke, Paul Adams, für die gute Arbeit und ich freue mich schon auf die Re-Issue von Copenhagen 1961!!!

With this re-issue of the Band Box Volume One LP lot's of old titles have been opened to the public. Paul Adams has again  done a very good job with digitalizing the old material.To the first 12 original LP tracks four tunes of the EP "Ottilie" have been added to this CD. Collectors will appreciate the 2 different versions of "Swanee River" and "Lonesome", even better known as Sidney Bechets "Si tu vois ma mère". The remaining titles are made up of bits and pieces, originally released on singles or EP's. Thanks, Paul Adams, for your good work and I'm looking forward to the re-issue of Copenhangen 1961!!!
